The Associate Pastor                                        

Rev. April Rhinehardt serves as an Associate Minister at Temple Memorial Baptist Church.  Rev. Rhinehardt serves as the Sunday morning worship leader and she directs the Wednesday night Bible Institute.   

Ecclesiastical

Rev. Rhinehardt was ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2007 by the Rowan Baptist Association.   She has also been endorsed by the National Baptist Convention, USA as a Hospital Chaplain.  She holds a provisional certification as a Board Certified Chaplain from the Association of Professional Chaplains.   At present, she is employed by North Carolina Baptist Hospital as a Contract Staff Chaplain.

Education

Rev. Rhinehardt received a B. A. in Psychology from UNC-Charlotte, her Masters in Counseling from North Carolina A & T and her Master of Divinity from Shaw University.

Personal

Rev. Rhinehardt is the mother of two adult children, John and Kristen Rhinehardt.  John is married to Nicole Dillard.  From that union Rev. Rhinehardt is the grandmother of one, Kai Rhinehardt.  Her daughter, Kristen, is a senior engineering major at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
