Ministries - Leadership

 

DEACON MINISTRY presently consists of ten ordained deacons and one deacon emeritus. Deacons serve as --extensions of the ministry of the Pastor and are persons concerned with the spiritual life of the Church. If ever you have a spiritual need or just need someone to talk to, our Deacons will be happy to hear from you. If you (or a loved one) is sick or in the hospital, you should inform our deacons. If, at any time, you cannot reach the Pastor, call a deacon who will pass along information to him. The Deacons of Temple Memorial are servants and they are waiting to be of service to you.

DEACONESS MINISTRY consists of women who are appointed to serve in this ministry. Chosen because of their Christian example and witness, these women serve in various capacities to meet the spiritual needs of the congregation. The Deaconess Ministry pays special attention to women's issues. They would be more than happy to pray with you and counsel with you if you have a spiritual need. Additionally, these women are responsible for preparing the Lord's Supper, assisting at baptisms, and assisting the Pastor where needed.

Trustees Ministry consists of persons who are the legal officers of the Church. Trustees hold the title to the property of the Church, maintain the property, manage the finances,and act for the Church in legal, financial, and business matters. If there are any questions or concerns about our Church building, grounds, other properties, or our finances, you should direct your questions to the Trustees.
